Parents are the first teachers and role models for their children.  We value your insights and support in your child’s learning.  Parents may participate in their child’s education by monitoring school progress and providing opportunities at home to extend and reinforce learning.  Some parents may wish to volunteer in the school while others may offer their time and talents by serving on our PAC executive in various capacities.

All parents of UPS students are members of the UPS Parent Advisory Committee (PAC).  The purpose of this group is to provide a parent forum to discuss general school matters that pertain to the functioning of our school.  The PAC meets monthly, usually on the third Thursday at 6:30 pm in our school library.

Interested in Volunteering?

If you plan on volunteering in your child’s classroom we now require all volunteers working in our school and with our students to have a Criminal Records Check.  The criminal record check has been streamlined and is simple to complete online.
